The country’s largest exhibition event and one of the most important in Southeast Europe, TIF, is coming to its 83rd event, from September 8 to 16, 2018, to write another brilliant chapter in its history. The extroversion and dynamism of the Greek economy, the companies that are developing from all over the country, the foreign participations and a very rich program of parallel events compose the scenery of the 83rd TIF.
Honored Country at the 83rd TIF will be the USA and innovation and technology will be at the center of the American presence, while during the event innovations from companies from the USA will be presented that are “introduced” for the first time to the public of Greece, perhaps also of Europe. The bar for the 83rd TIF has been raised even higher, after the significant success of the 82nd TIF. It is indicative that the 82nd DETHA proved to be the largest event of the last decade, with 263,724 people, compared to 210,081 last year, passing through its gates from September 9 to 17, 2017.
The huge turnout of visitors combined with the 1,500 exhibitors and the great success of China’s participation, which with 167 exhibition entries and with over 400 official delegations, set new standards for the Honored Country institution.
The intense business character and the strengthening of internationalization were dominant elements of the “personality” of the 82nd TIF, where the participation of the country’s Chambers was complete. The individual sections of the exhibition covered a wide field of interests, from education, automotive, energy to beauty, gastronomy and e-gaming, with many actions and events.
